Good study cooker... Good for steaming and boiling. Haven't tried frying, but see no reason it shouldn't be good at that too.

I have used it a couple times to cook low country boil and to cook other things. Not the heaviest in the world but not the most expensive commercial pot. A good choice for me. Cooked enough low country for around 35 people
